Holistic Abode is an initiative by Ananya Vohra in the field of mental health and holistic therapy. She is a counseling psychologist and a clinical hypnotherapist. And apart from that, she is also a Theta Healing Practitioner, Emotional Freedom Technique facilitator, Regression therapist, and Reiki healer.
Up till now, she has worked with various schools and institutions providing her guidance in the area of emotional and behavioral management. She is currently a freelance therapist providing online and personal sessions to numerous clients. She is also a certified parenting coach from Love International Academy (U.S.A). Her therapeutic sessions are insightful and bring deep healing at all levels of one’s being. She is passionate to transform people’s lives using the power of their own mind.
She strongly believes that the more one works on the subconscious mind programming in order to heal the patterns that no longer serve us, the more we are empowered to not only change our responses but also our external circumstances. There are many issues that we wish to resolve at the conscious level but unfortunately, our subconscious mind often has a different agenda. This agenda is what we are unaware of therefore it drives all our experiences in life as the unconscious mind is about 6000 times more powerful than our will or the conscious mind.
Therefore, all the modalities used in Holistic Abode fully focus on empowering the subconscious mind programming. Her therapeutic sessions involve the use of various techniques like Regression work, Theta healing, Emotional Freedom Technique, clinical hypnotherapy, and yoga psychotherapy which make them equipped to bring a profound healing experience.
Modalities Used at Holistic Abode
If we use the analogy of the computer we can say that in our mind which acts like a software we are storing all the beliefs or programming of our life. This programming is received through socio, economic, religious and educational conditioning.
Our Body is simply a reflection of what is going on in our minds. When a person experiences any illness or disease in the body, it is simply a reminder of our dysfunctional thoughts and emotions which were earlier created in our minds. For example, diabetes is a disease that manifests when we perceive life as being bitter or when we perceive sweetness is dangerous. So, apart from our diet and lifestyle our inner conversation is always being recorded in our cells, which slowly creates a blueprint according to which our body functions. When there is a genetic predisposition in regards to a disease only a particular person(s) carries that disorder but not all members of the family
As per the commands issued by the software the processing is done and we observe the result in our environment. To make changes in the result we have to make changes in the programming which led to processing.
Who Am I? When we begin to understand that we are not the mind or the body we feel driven to use these tools gifted to us. We must learn to use our mind and body efficiently to maximize their benefits. This becomes possible when we understand that we are the OPERATOR outside the realm of the software and the hardware. We are consciousness which keeps experiencing whatever we relate to. When we are able to relate to our true identity we begin to make wonders and are able to consciously create our reality.
